Dr. Bradley Coolman received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University in 1992. He completed a one-year rotating small animal internship at Auburn University in 1993. From 1993-1996, Dr. Coolman served as the Chief of Surgery and Dentistry for the U.S. Army Military Working Dog Center in San Antonio, TX. In 1999, he completed a small animal surgery residency at the University of Illinois and achieved board certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Josh Rexing received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University in 2001. After enjoying private small animal practice for almost 3 years, Dr. Rexing completed a one-year surgical and emergency medicine internship at NIVES working with Dr. Coolman and then a one-year rotating internship at the University of Illinois. Dr. Rexing finished a small animal surgery residency at Iowa State University in 2008 and is pursuing board certification.
Dr. Jongmin Kim received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine in South Korea in 1992. After becoming licensed in America, Dr. Kim completed a one-year internship at NIVES in 2002. Dr. Kim the entered a PhD program at Purdue University, where he studied neurological and orthopedic surgery, In February 2008, Dr. Kim began a 3-year small animal surgical residency under the supervision of Dr. Coolman and Dr. Rexing at NIVES.
