"I have been taking my animals to NIVES since at least 2003. The doctors and staff have always been caring and compassionate. I have made numerous trips in the middle of the night, and the staff has always been responsive. When I lost my cat about a month ago, the staff sent me a card with his paw prints so I can always remember him. That brought me much needed comfort and peace. I highly recommend NIVES for their quality of care and service. Dr. Jill Kitson, as well as the other doctors, have always been patient with me and worked hard to diagnose an illness. I am grateful that there is a place such as NIVES that can answer questions over the phone or see my beloved animals 24 hours a day. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!"

"Drove 2.5 hours to get here for my dogs knee surgery. It was worth every minute. I did think my surgery was a bit of money but I don't know if it was overpriced or average I really have no idea. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly and everything was explained well, and if I have to return again I certainly will."

"We've had to bring our cat and dog here at different times for various things. The staff has always been compassionate and helpful. It's nice having a place like this around, especially since out pets tend to have issues in off-hours. As much as I like it here, I hope I don't have to come back, but if I do, I won't hesitate."

"Our cat had started showing signs of possible bladder stones and, with it being Sunday afternoon, we called ahead and were provided with all of the information we needed, including any up front costs, which was appreciated. When we arrived we were taken to a room right away to fill out paperwork and have the vet tech take our cat's vitals. He was in a lot of pain and they were very gentle with him. A few moments later the vet came in to complete his exam and gave us several options right away, from best case to worst case scenario. We were there for nearly five hours, from check in to discharge, and the vet regularly came to provide us with updates regarding the procedure and let us know our cat was doing well. He explained everything very clearly and was so kind. We would highly recommend using Northeast Indiana for any emergency needs. They are very welcoming and willing to work with your primary care vet to keep expenses down for you. What a wonderful experience!!"

"This place is absolutely amazing. Every single person I talked to was friendly, genuine, and extremely professional. My puppy had ingested some medication and needed some help. She was so terrified of everyone who entered the room, and the staff remained patient with her and was so kind. I work in a busy hospital and know how it can be when your patient isn't cooperative and things are busy. They didn't let their stress or busyness show one bit, which I know isn't always easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone whose pet is in need."
